 Sitzler is the proud builder of the award winning Mantra on Esplanade and is the design and construction partner for the new Darwin City Waterfront redevelopment. In the last 15 years, projects in the tourism and hospitality sector have accounted for almost 20% of the work we have undertaken. We have completed almost $120M of tourism work with another $100M under construction. When it comes to the tourism sector in Australia, few facilities are as iconic and recognisable as the Ayers Rock Resort. We have been a key participant in the development of the Resort since the 1970s; through its inception and development, redevelopment after massive flooding and its significant expansions. We have cemented our position as the tourism construction experts by being awarded the design and construction contract in joint venture for the Darwin Cove Waterfront redevelopment including the $100M Darwin Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Darwin Waterfront Wave Pool.
